its about fujitora's devil fruit.
every time fujitora uses gravity powers he unseathes his sword.
is unseathing sword really nescessary to use devil fruit power, if he has a fruit ability he should be able to use it casually without unseathing his sword, even in the latest chapter where he lifted all the rubbles he had his sword raised. this led me thinking that maybe fujitora doesnt have gravity fruit ability but his sword has the ability of gravity fruit. its not really unlikely to have sword a devil fruit ability, even a cp9 guy had one. so i think gravity manipulation is actually abiity of his sword. or maybe his sword is cursed and has this abiity( which is unlikely), what do you guys think.

It could be him just assuming a fighting pose when using his abilities, good manners for an admiral level fighter if you ask me, but your explanation seems more plausible, since he also uses his sword's various moves to create horizontal gravity and shield like hemisphere to block meteors(during doffy, law ceaser exchange), though one problem is he dropped meteor through the birdcage w/o using his sword(I think) don't have the scan though.

I'm leaning towards it being a sword technique like kinemon's fire cutting, since no other paramecia uses a weapon when using there fruit, though it could be that the sword ate the devil fruit

I highly doubt that the sword ate the fruit. So far, only Zoans have been shown to be able to be eaten by weapons, which makes sense to a degree. A sword eating a Paramecia or Logia isn't really plausible because there's no consciousness for the ability to be activated.

He probably uses the sword to focus the power.

I don't think so, he was flying with a piece of the ground while his sword was still sheathed and he sent the boat flying after Law while he was eating soup.

I said the same thing awhile ago but someone posted a scan of him using gravity powers with no sword. I agree though it seems like the sword is the fruit holder not Fuji himself but this has been shown to not be the case(assuming I'm remembering right)

But he still had his sword on him didnt he? That doesnt necessarily negate the possibility that its the sword with the power.

Btw@ Toshi, you saying Fujitora can activate gravity with his sword and control it without the sword? Doesn't make sense. More than likely, Fujitora himself has the fruit. So far, we've only seen zoans as object and those could be SMILE.
