Fujitora sword ate the Devil Fruit. All of his Gravity powers come from his sword.

We have seen Fuji drinking tea on ship and still made metro fall down without using sword so no

My guess is that because he was swordsman they use swords as extra reach on arm and due to the fact that he is blind he uses it to point and focus the gravity in specfic area

I used to think so too but that tea scene is damning evidence to the contrary.

In case anyone is wondering about the "tea scene," I think they're referring to this scene where Fuji is eating Ramen.

Though, given that Fuji tells his men to turn the ship around so they can keep going, it's fully possible that Fuji used his sword to lift the shit with gravity, and then resheathed it because his men are capable of moving the ship through the sails and the wheel(somehow) once it's started floating.

When ever Fujitora does the gravity power he always pulls his sword.

This doesn't answer my question. How would Fujitora be able to summon the sword's powers if it's not a Zoan?

Zoans work when you feed them to an object because it grants the object a consciousness. That way, it can use their powers. But a sword without sentience? How would it work?

Neither did Funkfreed.

It appears as though he called down the meteor while eating though. Also I'm confused on your stance, in this post it sounds as if you're saying it's possible it's his sword but to Apple you say it should have to be a zoan if it's his sword

Bit of both. I think it's through Fujitora, as it doesn't make sense with the info we have so far that a sword eating a Paramecia with actually work.

But I think that particular scan can be argued either way, and giving the idea that a sword can eat a Paramecia or a Logia the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe he uses his sword to channel his powers more precise or something. So that Fujitora ate the fruit but by pouring his powers into the sword he has more control over it. Or like a Zaraki thing that the sword is only letting him unleash a bit of his powers and that if he doesn't gravity goes insane because of his admiral level power.

But that is all speculation.

I mean didn't a gun eat a Df or something?

Maybe haki can be used to channel the devil fruit power if his sword ate it?

You're thinking of the cannon that ate the Alpaca Zoan.

It ate a dog fruit or is there another canon? Never mind I found what you were talking about.

No joke but i think how inanimate objects have devil fruit abilities is through the process they were made because as someone mentioned they do not have mouths.
So for instance swords having devil fruits. I reckon, when creating a sword they crush the devil fruit or something then put it into the core of the sword? Idk lol. Although i do believe Vegapunk did it in this way or in a similar manner.

Vegapunk was behind the inanimate objects eating DF. e.g In Alabasta. However if I remember correctly it was specifically mentioned zoans. Maybe this is some break through technique Vegapunk worked on
