Has it been confirmed that it is indeed his Devil Fruit and not his sword's? If so please link. I've been wondering this for awhile and haven't seen anything conclusive. Or perhaps I just missed it, haha. Therefore I have made this thread.
He can do da magic without using his sword so yeah it's him not the sword , also that member of cp9 said giving devil fruit's to items is limited for zoans only or something like that !
I mean what's the point if you give a sword a paramecia and since it can't think it can't use it...
Only Zoan fruits can be eaten by objects, otherwise it wouldn't have the brain/initiative to use its power. Only living things can use Devil Fruits, and the only way an object can become alive is if it's a Zoan. Objects like Funkfreed and Lassoo are alive, if they weren't alive they couldn't use their powers, ya get me?

It's definitely Fujitora who ate the fruit, following this simple and so far correct logic. Oda has yet to make an exception to this rule, so don't throw BS at me.
Lots of devil fruit users use their powers in conjunction to a weapon, for example: Law, Magellan, Caesar, Sabo, Buggy, Whitebeard, Absalom and Kanjurou. We've also seen Issho use his powers against Sabo without drawing his sword.

but what I don't get about it is
is it the power to control gravity and pull meteors down?
or both create meteors of limited size and limited gravity range?

at no point was it stated only inanimate objects can be only zoans. but it DID say that inanimate objects can eat devil fruits. your theory makes sense because by your own logic the object wouldnt have been able to eat the fruit in the first place because it doesnt have a brain.
