Fugaku Uchiha is a fodder or possibly equal to Minato in power?

Fugaku is father of two legendary Soloking ,Itachi and Sasuke From what i remember Fugaku was the leader of the uchiha clan at his time ,this mean he must have some powers that allow him to be superior over the uchiha clan inorder for respect to be given to him.Fugaku was aware of Mangekou sharingan when he was alive ,there could be a chance that he could have MS power .I know some of you guys will say Itachi fodderize him but Fugaku knew about itachi action base on destroying the uchiha clan but he did not want to kill itachi because itachi is his son .

Well given the situation and the circumstances of his death, It looks like Itachi caught him in his sleep rather than facing his father in a straight up fight. It is very possible that Fugaku Uchiha could have been powerful. As much as people want to label him a fodder, the story really wasn't about him and it seemed both Itiachi and Sasuke looked up to him. Plus as you said, he was the leader of the Uchiha Clan. Leaders of clans in the Narutoverse are generally Kage level at least in power.

Just because he had no real panel time exploiting his talents doesn't necessarily mean he was a fodder. Though, I have no real proof to prove otherwise.

Who to say Itachi fodderized Fugaku? We haven't seen the full on view of when Itachi and Obito wiping out the Uchihas so who to say Itachi surprised attack his dad due to him being stronger? But I doubt he's Minato level since Itachi got to Minato level after he grew to 18 years and even then Minato still ahead by hype of his smarts, the manga fact of him taking on A and Bee on more than 1 occasions and wasn't killed (that's the 2nd fastest Ninjas with great brute strength and Bee who's the 2nd strongest Jinchuurikis).

Don't even call Sasuke a solo king when he couldn't solo Bee or A with his MS when Minato took on both of them at the same time more than once. Both almost killed Sasuke and Sasuke had a team with him saving him. That's like me calling Naruto solo king when he has help in many fights, he has the power but lacks certain feats to be solo king, when he's older and use his brain more then he would be the true solo king.
