-Fu is damn near useless without prep time to set up his trap
-A close-range fighter like Torune can't compete with Temari who can just blow bugs away with her wind (yes i realize that wind isn't always a hard counter to bugs, no need to bring up the shino vs zaku fight)

This. Though I am not a big fan of Fu, Torune is definitely a cool character, and pretty OP against Taijutsu based fighters but Unfortunately for them the only Taijutsu based fighter they are facing here is Gai, and Gai has Kakashi with him so....

Also, why do they need intel on Manda?

Kakashi is the only person who logically how intel on Fu and even that is pushing it, about knowing Fu capability. I wanna hear an argument on how he solos.

Darui has zero intel, once he attacks his mind gets trapped in a puppet.

Same for Temeri so she isn't getting solo as Fu can solo her.

Well it depends on the distance, if they're lets say 10 feet then they win probably easily. And 4 they get negged.
