i think that a lot of people have this thing wrong,yes...everyone with a heart and passion for Naruto enjoyed the last isssu,narruto is the now the fastest shinobi,and by that i mean raw speed r body flicker as u may,FTG is a space time ninjitsu and Yellow Flash is the name given to the Body Flicker technique the 4th used,his raw speed r body flicker was so fast that all anyone saw was a Yellow Flash r a flash of yellow,whether the colour came from his hair (mostlikely) r wat...FTG on the other hand is actual teleport and don't leaves behind nothing but smoke,nothing cud be as fast as a teleport,teleport is instant and can't be judged by speed,so my theary is wen they say that the raikage speed is on par with the Yellow Flash not FTG,they didn't mean FTG jus YF,on par means jus as,so if the Raikage was as fast as the Yellow Flash and Naruto is doing the Yellow Flash,that mean that Naruto's Yellow Flash is faster than his dad because the 4th had to use FTG to out beat the Raikage because he kno's nothing can beat teleportation,Naruto does'nt have teleportation,to teleport it take seals for a normal person,Madara don't because it's an eye technique,naruto is skilled but he don't have that,he wud have to be taught

It doesn't make much sense, even if you read it slowly... I got the gist of it. But, I disagree I think Yellow Flash is not a technique, it is a name given to Minato. FTG is the move, it is simply speed, but if given a target (the sign he can put on people), then it can be used to take him at above light speed over a large distance. But it can also be used for short bursts if you can see where you are going.

dude i kno it's a name he was given,but he was given the name because of wat people saw wen he did his body flicker...not because of his FTG,the flyin' thunder god tech is on a whole other level,..with his raw speed people only see a yellow flash,so thats ywhy the name was given to him

i'm not sayin his hair isn't the reason,but wen he moves fast his hair causes the yellow flash,i jus don't think it is wen he uses his spacetime nin...do u watch justice league,wen flash use speed he leaves a red flashy blur,if someone teleports they don't leave any,so i don't think he got the name yellow flash from using FTG,he got the name from using his raw speed...anyway,ur opinion is respected

When Minato runs,it actually causes a Phasma to develop behind him,it is also called Motion Blur,his hair causes the Phasma to take a yellow-ish color.

Dude I agree with you. Yamato or killer bee, can't remember which, said the same thing when Naruto struck Kisame. I doubt the FTG left a yellow blur behind, so the nickname had to come from his body flicker blur.

thanks man,even if not body flicker,my point is that he didn't get the name yellow flash from using his FTG (space-time nin) it had to be from his raw speed,so all who think that wat naruto did means that he has acquire his fathers FTG...NOT BY A LONG SHOUT,he was jus moving fast,he has surpassed his father in raw speed thanks to the kyubi...he is not on par with the Raikage,he surpass the Raikage,his father was on par with the Raikage,so naruto is the fastest shinobi now,and as for space-time nin,madara is the only one seeing that minato ian't there,until naruto finds a way..r who kno's wat sasuke new ems my holds

And i have to agree that it comes from his speed, even Madara said it : "You truly live up to your Yellow Flash nickname" or sth like that (in Kushina's story) and he said it when Minato managed to grab baby Naruto from his hands in a split second using only his speed, it is clear that there is no FTG involved there.
But it also could be from his FTG at the scene where he takes out an entire enemy platoon all by himself in a matter of seconds. We know FTG (a space-time jutsu) is almost instant, and with him appearing very fast at different points on the battle field those who were watching could not follow him completely, his FTG speed (appearing from one place to another) was so fast that the image he created (and the yellow from his hair was the most outstanding of his whole outfit) did not disappear from the viewers visual memory, so they were kinda seeing a yellow "dot" at several points at the same time, and with Minato teleporting over really short distances the whole battlefield looked like a "yellow flash" though i am not sure, i agreed that it most likely come from his raw speed.

Body flicker does leave a trail behind... because it is just HIGH SPEED MOVEMENT so you still have to move to get to that place, you don't just appear there.

No yellow flash is the name given to the 4th hokage, because you could only see a yellow flash when he fought. And what made him be called that was the FTG.... honelsty that is Naruto 101
