well the 4th Raikage tried predicting Minato's next move using the kunias yet minato got the drop on him again. also Minat doesn't have to teleport to the kunia, he can around a limited area around the kunia as he showed teleporting Kushina to that small building where baby Naruto was. he appeared away from his kunia.
Speed and reflexes are irrelevant when you know your opponent's every move. The most fodder ninja can at most injure Minato if he knows where Minato will appear next and times his attack correctly to connect as soon as he teleports. Or someone highly strategical like, say, Sasuke, can use enton to set a trap and force Minato to teleport where said trap is laid.
It's impossible to tell were he will throw them, although he can track them with his sharingan. although... What good is that?
Minato doesn't hide were he flings his kurani, he clearly just throws them around the battle area, wither or not Itachi knows were they are make no difference, he doesn't have the speed nor reflexs to do anything anyway.
It is imp to stop ftg.
Come on ^ @"Q of the sharingan". Minato can reach the kunai in no time. There is no way minato gets out of kunai.
It's easier for other S/T users, such as Obito and Tobirama, to handle Minato.
Itachi has been shown to redirect kunai by hitting them in mid air. He can just knock Minato's kunai away from himself. That would render FTG useless. Once Minato is out of kunai, then what?
Before Itachi could hit and knock them away he can port and rasengan him, but 3 tomoe is hard 2 deal with
So you mean that he can just teleport to the kunai and keep throwing them right? In which case Itachi, who is very analytic will redirect his kunai in mid air again. This time keeping the kunai in one area so that he can launch an attack in that area when Minato tries to retrieve his kunai. Not all people can work with a strategy like this. Itachi as all the attributes to do so however. He is an expert with shuriken and kunia, and one of the most intelligent and analytic characters in the manga.
A few other characters I think can beat Minato's FTG (Some cases Minato can just run away so that is why I'm not saying beat Minato)
Sasuke: Can use Amaterasu and then enton to cover each kunai, stopping Minato from being able to use FTG in that battle.
Naruto: I believe he is fast enough to attack Minato when he teleports. So each time Minato teleports, Naruto will follow him to that location. That and the fact that Naruto can have at least a score of KCM clones makes it so that Minato has to constantly be on the run.
Hashirama: Judging from Madara's showcasing of Hashi's jutsu. Hashi can use deep forest emergence to cover the battlefield and all possible kunai locations with his wood style. Then he can hide wood clones in the trees to attack Minato stealthily wherever he teleports. He could also use flowering tree world to knock Minato unconscious.
Obito (current): Obito now has knowledge on FTG. He can just stay intangible and let his paths attack. Without the paths, intangibility would just allow the match to draw.
Madara: As an edo, he can just use the same strategy as Hashi. Even if he doesn't do that, he can use universal pull to grasp Minato and all kunai towards him and then strike with Susanoo.
There are a few people that can counter FTG but that is the thing; there are only a few. Minato is very versatile and hard to deal with. He can be dealt with however. Of course, if all else fails for Minato, he can just run away to a random FTG mark away from the battle. This would be considered a forfeit.
He would redirect them in mid air as in before they reach him.
Excuse me? Speed and reflexes are irrelevant? Speed and reflexes are vital characteristics a ninja needs. So by that logic, a turtle could injure Minato right? Nobody knows where Minato will appear next. If it's 1v1 he could just teleport anywhere utilizing his kunai. A, one of the fastest alive, knew where every kunai was, and even he couldn't predict where Minato would go.
Also, calling Sasuke highly strategic is inaccurate. Kishi just hypes up a bunch of things he does. Obito praises him because he used a fire jutsu in a wind-style vaccuum? Yeah, real stroke of genius there. And you're assuming that Minato is as dumb as a brick when he's not. He can counter his opponent's counter strategies. Because in the time it takes someone to analyze his jutsu and techniques, he could've already put a seal on you and can just teleport in and slit your throat. And if Sasuke were to shroud himself in Amaterasu, Minato's not an idiot. He wouldn't even get close. He'd just let Sasuke waste chakra while he forms plans and ideas on where to take the battle next.
Minato wasn't the 4th Hokage for nothing. So don't assume that fodder ninja could just do damage like it's nothing or a strategist could easily take him down.
