Would Minato or Tobirama be able to place a seal on something like Gaara's sand or a Hozuki clan member?
Say Gaara puts up a sand-type wall like this

Now let's say that Tobirama or Minato try to place a seal on this (if they even can, I don't know for sure) and Gaara retracts his sand back to his coffin. Would the seal that 2nd or 4th Hokage still be there and allow them to FTG around Gaara's vicinity, even though Gaara's sand loses the shape it once had?

As for a Hozuki clan member or even Kabuto, let's say that Tobirama has already placed a seal on them. If they transform to water, would Tobirama still be able to FTG in their area? If not, then what happens when they take their physical form, would the seal still be there?

Just a few things I was wondering, feedback would be nice.

Of course, and take note the seal is invisible. Gaara has to totally replace his entire sand in the gourd in order to be safe.

the seal would still be there like it was probably on bee's 8tails tentacle from years before... how minato appeared on the war battlefield as an edo.

Good question. I say no because the object not being solidarity and retaining its physical shape.

The seal is invisible? But we've seen the markings and seal before, haven't we? Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think the seal was invisible..
I think the seal would disperse
See I'm thinking the same because it loses it's shape but then I'm not sure because FTG seals seem to last.

Gtfo my thread with that BS, Tobirama and Minato are definitely some of my favorite characters. Just cause I don't ride their d*ck like you ride Minato, doesn't mean I'm trying to find their weakness. Also, I could care less whether you liked me before, now, or ever for that matter.

It probably would still be there if Obito's was but I don't think that's how Minato got to the battlefield. If that's the case, why not take everyone else with him? We know Minato can transport more than one person at once, he transported a whole 100% Kyuubi.

That would make the most sense to me... I should have made a poll for this >_<

Edit: Nvm, I decided to make a poll =D

If the sand is in a solid state like his dome for example than yes the marking can be placed on it. But I have reason to believe if the sand dispersed the marking would probably disappear or if anything the marking would stay attached to that portion of sand where it was placed on.

because he moves faster alone.. plus he was stopping the TBB that was headed towards BEE..
Tobirama had to move kinda slow cuz he was carrying two other powerful chakras.. >.<

True, but with sand being a miniscule as it is, the seal probably wouldn't hold at all since as the sand is dispersed, the seal should be dispersed as well. Unless Gaara puts his sand altogether in gourd the exact way he set up his dome which I doubt cause that's just too much detail.

Yeah, I pretty much have the same thinking as you.

I concur that that would result too.

What about a Hozuki clan member of Kabuto. Do you think the same concept applies? Unlike the sand, Kabuto and a Hozuki clan member would have to put themselves back together the exact same way so it might be different.

When it comes to Hozuki members such as Suigetsu, it gets complicated. For example, It is unknown if Suigetsu can use the surrounding water to assist in the body-water reforming process or if its the already dispersing water created from himself to revert back to physical form.

You referring to when he turns into liquid? Doubt it. The rule basically applies the same just as Gaaras sand. Doubt the seal will stay attached to liquid.

If the seal is not invisible, you think Obito wouldn't have done something to remove Minato's ftg seal, after 16 years?
He knew he was tagged back in the nine tails rampage after all.
They are only showing it in panels for the sake of the readers, but I'm pretty sure it is invisible to Narutoverse characters.
