Does it have a range? Like honestly, Minato can place a kunai anywhere in the ninja world and if he can't dodge something, he can immediately just FTG to a random placed kunai.

I think it does have a range, it explains why Tobirama didn't FTG out his group before he died to the Kinkaku Force.

It has to have a limited range, otherwise it'd be incredibly overpowered.

Minato put a kunai in the middle of the sea and made a TBB go that far, the range of it is almost as haxxed as the jutu itself

I mean if it does it's more than a few miles, so either way you're good.

I imagine the range, and the size of the object being transported increase the amount of chakra.

{d * x * s = c} or something like that.

It's an unlimited range, but maybe it takes more chakra the farther away it is?

no range, but chakra consumed increases by distance and size i think, if not, the move is over powered

There is no range in FTG. FTG bends time and space. It's like you're drawing dots in each right corner of the paper labeling it A and B. If you'll look at it, it has a distance but when you fold the paper equally, those dots will touch each other thus bending its space.

No Tobirama killed himself when fighting Kinkaku Force.

Could it be possible that he placed that kunai while he was getting to the battlefield? That means the kunai would have been within range.

It doesn't seem entirely plausible though because he wouldn't have randomly just placed a kunai in the middle of the sea.

Ftg has no range: look at when minato safed baby naruto and kushina, when obito tried to kill them both. Just the obito has no range

OT: people always ask how fast is minato with out his justu called ftg. When obito toss baby naruto into the air, minato who was far away got baby naruto b4 obito did or even taught about coming down. After using ftg to kushina when kurama was extracted and try to kill her, he used his normal speed to land on top that tree.

OT: 4th raikage is also fast without his lighting around his body, when he attacked zettus.
