As seen many a time Minato has teleported TBB's by opening up the seal and allowing them to pass through this commonly takes time due to the size of the package.
So the question is if Minato really wanted and was being attacked by a body part he could open up the seal transport that body part to where ever he wants and close the seal thus sending that part of the body away.
Similar to what obito can do where he puts one part of his body in the Kamui dimension so in this case that persons body part would be gone permanently similar to as if Kakashi had kamui'd somebody.
This would mainly be for close range rather than long range because the seal always forms right in front of his kunai.
