If I may ask, how are erza and gray above gajeel when they can't even touch him in the shadow state? I mean one would only need some serious speed to catch him before he enters it which only few in FT has.

Well that's because he is in top 5 in FT(the guild), plus rouge never showed the ability to go inside object as a shadow, without the weird shadow controlling him. Also like I said insane reaction speed is a good counter for that ability.

ultimately you can't just dismiss someone's ability just because it's OP as hell.

That's the top 5. Laxus effortlessly stopped an attack that was going to wipe out most of FT and Natsu literally stomped an opponent that Tenrou Island Arc Gildarts struggled with for a little while. A literal one shot.

Dude one shot a God and nearly burned down the GMG arena. He also easily one shot Bluenote. All these feats easily makes him Fairy Tails strongest.

Laxus

He beat Jura who was a wizard saint. Showed a great feat against Azir.



Erza

Has an armor that could cut through magic and one shot Minerva. Shown to be on Wizard saint level and blocked a city level slash with ease.

Gray

His demon slayer magic seems decently powerful. From what we seen from Silver it is powerful but g9ing off of Gray feats he was able to instantly freeze a good chunk of land.

Lucy

Has Urano Metria which one jackal. Has water magic powerful enough to block explosives easily. Combination attacks and super strength.

Gajeel

His ISD form is reasonably powerful.

Mirajane

SE is a powerful spell and she has great physical powress

Wendy

Her DF is powerful

Juvia

Good list, though don't you think that gildarts has improved just like natsu did, assuming everyone has improved.
