From what we've heard, was Kaguya reasonable and justified in eating the fruit?

Was she justified?

Do you think from what we've heard, that she's justified? Or do you think that she wasn't justified and her actions were not reasonable?

Yes she sacraficed herself and possible her humanity in order to protect her people and put an end to there barbaric fighting . It was either that or watch her people kill themselves off.

Or...she thought super powers sounded cool as shit. And if there's one thing we know princesses like, it's things they aren't allowed to have.

Well, I mean it depends on how you look at it. She did it to protect the people and end wars. It may have only been for a time but she thought it was the right thing to do instead of watching wars rage on. It put an end to suffering for a period of time.

She sounds ignorant, if you ask me.

She started something way beyond what she measures, tampering with a God and what not.

The world would have most likely been better off without Chakra.

Actually now that you mention it (and i think about it more throughly) I dont think she truly was justified in eating that fruit (of course she had no idea what would happen) but still she had enough knowledge to know that she was taking a godly possesion and that she would receive something spectacular because of it that would give her power over everyone.

This is no different from what Obito is doing right now. Ignoring countless voices for the pursuit of "peace" and that only one person would have power over all

Protect people by murdering them?

Giving people even an stronger arsenal for fighting each other?

Stealing from a God and thinking that it won't come after you?

Impridoning it and making the situation worse?

No, she was definitely wrong. SO6P HAD to seal it. He never even went for a kill. He wasn't justified, but made a peaceful choice.

Kaguya only wanted to spare her own people. What about the other people that used to have a family? Orphans?

Yeah right.

Very much so; She ended what was a chaotic time for her. It was her Sage that dropped the ball and failed to continue peace.

She had no idea what she was thinking. A mere human can't handle the power of a god, and all the outcomes from using it.

Either way it would've ended in ultimate destruction, she sacraficed herself to ensure order to the world. She had to eliminate possible threats, to enstill her vision of utopia, were everyone is able to live in peace and harmony, and since she had goddess like powers she probably was the type who thrived on logic and eliminated threats.

I'd say yes...I do believe that Kishi is trying to portray women as the greatest FU's of the century, but I believe that she genuinely wanted to help ppl. She could not have known that it would lead to even more turmoil. Although....she probably was a bit power hungry and didn't think her decision through thoroughly. She probably was young and not very wise...because if she were she might have thought...that this power would only lead to ppl trying to attain it by killing, lying, stealing, etc. She probably thought she knew better than everyone. I believe she was young and naive but I feel her overall cause was just.

Power corrupts...and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Kaguya's case was a case of someone trying to do good but ended up bringing a curse instead :I

by stealing the fruit.. because it never said the tree gave her permission to eat it so technically she stole it, she brought the wrath of the god tree upon humanity

Oh really? You're making a huge assumption for someone we got like 3 panels of.
