Sasuke, Obito and Madara all had the defence to counter frog kumite so it isn't a nerf, he didn't use it because all his opponents were too strong for him to use it against.

precisely. obito simply phases through it with kamui regardless of whether he detects it or not the attack wont hit him. blind madara spanked sm naruto, and his reflexes and speed are way above the latter for frog kumite to be any sort of factor against him. as a jj he detects the aura since he utilizes senjutsu and counters with tsb.

since gaining hagoromos power, sasuke was able to feel NE at VOTE 2 somewhat so if frog kumite is used against him, he would feel the aura and know something is up hecne he activates soosano(can be Ribcage) and tanks.
