Frog song vs Tsukyomi, which genjutsu is better and why?

how is it deadlier than tsukyomi? it has been the only genjutsu to be clearly explained as the only genjutsu which will:: 1. alter time - 2. kill the person caught under it almost immediately.

JUST because frog song can hit mutiple targets, doesn't make it deadlier than a genjutsu that actually KILLS... in a second!

If it is actually hit, yes Tsukuyomi is more deadlier. But as a whole, I would say frog song is better. Tsukuyomi is a MS technique which means it takes up a lot of chakara, and I still dont think it can be used on multiple opponents like frog song can. Plus, once you have succesfully been put in a genjutsu in a 1 on 1 situation, chances are the person will kill you.

Don't think you're right on that one, we have never actually seen someone catch multiple people in tsukyomi, Kakashi was the only one who ended up in it.

Its true we have never seen anyone catch multiple people in tsukuyomi but as ive explained i dont see why not. Again its only kakashi who looked in itachis eyes

Frog song takes way too long to get off , But once you do, i would say its more deadlier than tsukyomi.......

for once I'll have to agree. tsukyuomi is a quick genjutsu and is very potent, but even though frog song takes a while, once hit, you're done. Jiraiya said it rips your mind and soul from your body.

The frog song might take a long time to do, but its more deadlier then tsukuyomi

I mean it put the rinnegan in a genjutsu, isn't the rinnegan > Sharingan?

So I think a rinnegan could break tsukuyomi, and it couldn't break the frog song so the frog song is better

For me it depends on if its Itachi's Tsukinomi, b/c he was able to control time and space, and it was very easy for him to catch you in it

Frog song is better. Both by how it affects its opponent: Sound > Sight, and by how it affects the user: Frog song has no negative affects, tsukuyomi, hit or miss drops the user to his knees.

Tbh if I had the choice I'd get the from song, mainly because it's cast by frog summons leaving you free to do whatever to your hearts content while the frogs are singing their frog song, and yeah you can cover your ears, but you'd probably be good as dead doing that anyway, Tsukiyomi's cost of having MS is too much, and under normal circumstances the user would go blind relying on that tech
