Frog song:
You must be registered for see images
Advantages
-It can affect as many targets as possible so long as they are within range.
-It paralyses both the body and the mind so escape is impossible.

Disadvantages
-It takes time to get the right tune
-it can reveal your location to the enemy


Tsukuyomi:
You must be registered for see images
Advantages
-It starts and ends so quickly that the target has no time to react let alone break out of it.
-It can be cast when eye contact is made for a brief moment.
-It can cause lasting mental trauma without the help of a skilled medic(tsunade)

Disadvantages
-Enemy can avoid eye contact.
-skilled sensors can avoid it by fighting with their eyes sealed.
-People with special eyes[sharingan,(possibly rinnegan and byakugan) or trained eyes(diedara)] can see through it.
- Jinchuriki may or may not break it

Which is superior? thoughts?

Tsukuyomi... Deidara dosen't even know about Tsukuyomi he was caught in some basic Genjutsu... All that preparing for Genjutsu and was still caught in Genjutsu...Shame...

Depends on the situation, Tsukuyomi is more suited for one on one fights while Frog Song is better for group fights.

Deidara was not caught in sasuke's genjutsu read the fight again. he was beaten by sharingan insight not hypnosis.

Uchiha's can break out of Tsukyomi, even Sasuke 3T could.
But nobody can break out of Frog Song.

-Frog Song is audio based so its harder to avoid, if even avoidable. Also, it can catch more people at a time.

-No one can break Frog Song. Uchiha can break Tsukuyomi.

Frog Song>Tsukuyomi.

I'd just like to point out, Jinchuriki can not break out of Tsuk.

But Frog Song is more impressive.

All the scans i provided 1-10 show the frog tech first taking place to the moment where it finally takes effect, it simply takes too long. One could argue it longer because it was being used on more than one enemy which seems plausible but thats merely an assumption. Manga shows the frog simply taking too long.


It's true Tysukuyomi can be broken but does that matter? 1 second in tysukuyomi can be 3 hours of getting stabbed. Tysukuyomi being able to get broken is not relevant here as in the end the victim will still fall to the after effect of tysukuyomi. Frog leaves the user vulnerable and takes too long to prep.
