Around the soothing air is passing by,
Unseen it comes, and soon it glides away,
Afar to meadows green and mountains high,
To move the leaves and cause the boughs to sway.
It travels far and then returns with joy,
Mayhap of doubt and fear that may annoy
Each creature here and every living soul.
The obscured news it brings from pole to pole.
But lo! before mine eyes, I come to see
The cheerful look of smiling faces sweet,
They dance,sing,talk and laugh with glee
My love and my heart I give to all of thee.
Permit me to enjoy this happy time,
If worthy they and seeming fit in rhyme,
And be in tune with all we must agree
Dear friends, 'tis joy to be with all of thee.
