no way POD, no way, even if my fireball hurls right through your cloud, the let me remind you of what you said earlier, when i asked you on how you used your lightning attack.

i asked.
"wait a sec, be more specific with the last jutsu, do you send lightning at me right away, or what???"

and you answered.
"yes I send them at u as quickly as possible"

Meaning, that your lightning hits my fireball=the attacks cancel each other out.

ZeroGarra I think you took my post about two b rank jutsu canceling each other out , for every same rank jutsu would cancel each other out.

While 2 same ranked jutsu can cancel each other out, you have to use common sense and look at the description. I'll use an example:

During a certain battle awhile back one person used Swamp of the underworld which creates a swamp underneath the opponent and causes them to sink like quicksand. The other person used Chidori Nagashi (which creates chidori senbon I think) because according to the element hierarchy Lightning beats earth. But using common sense you would know that if you fired an attack at the swamp beneath you, instead of the large swamp disappearing it would cause the swamp to collapse and swallow you up faster.

When I said the fire net and fireball colliding would cancel each other out, using ranks was fine because they were the same element and there description were pretty straightforward and using common sense you would know they would cancel each other out.

Looking at the description of a jutsu, can give you some ideas on how to beat it regardless of rank. Like if someone made an eletricfied wave, you could counter with a big earth fissure as even though the fissure jutsu is ranks below their combination jutsu, it would still beat it if it were big enough as the water would just drop in the fissure and you would be fine.

But anyway just thought I would clarify the situation. Have fun rping.

P.S P.O.D the thunderclouds wouldn't make your chakra lightning stronger as the thunderclouds wouldn't increase your lightning wave, and I think if they were struck by real lightning, your jutsu would be wiped out.

Hmm okay, but his jutsu is actually impossible for me to beat, because i can only use fire element, because if none of my fire jutsus will be able to harm his thunderclouds, or stop his lightning, then he can just keep on sending lightning at me...

There's no limit on this jutsu... And he said he fired his lightning ASAP, which mean the lightning will collide with my fireball, i was not shooting to hit the cloud, i was using my fireball as a shield, protecting me from above, and with my other attacks coming at him, he'd have no choise but to end the jutsu. (Since he can't see me, because of my 5-sence confusion thing, and my ash cloud.)

lol gaara guess I win because: even if u use ur fireball in the air that doesnt mean u will strike exactly where my jutsu would come from as there are 2 many clouds

It is ofcourse possible for your jutsu to go around mine, that would take around 50x50 meters of clouds, then you would be able to hit me. (this is an unprecise number, it's based on the distance, and the fireballs sice.) So if you have 50x50 meter clouds, then i'll accept defeat, and if you do, that's one heck of an OP B-ranked jutsu...
