Some days ago, the marò Girone came back to Italy, after being imprisoned for roughly three years in India. He's been accused by Indian authorities to have killed two fishermen, along with his comrade Latorre, because they confused them with pirates.

However, now he's come back to Italy but India set seven conditions for it

1) Every Wednesday, Girone will have to sign in order to check his presence in Italy.
2) He always will be under the authority of the Indian supreme court
3) He will give his passport to Italian authorities and won't be allowed to go abroad without Indian permission
4) He won't be in any way allowed to make contact to anyone involved in the accident
5) Italy will have to inform India about him every three months
6) If Indian supreme court wants him to come back in India, he absolutely will have to in a month
7) If he violates one or more of these conditions, his bail will be revoked

should have went on with proceedings and sentenced them what they deserved. The sweet tears that could be seen in western news sites about 2 innocents being accused and held wrongly captive would have been amusing.
