Freedom vs control

Ive been thinking about some of the themes in Naruto lately and one of the ideas that I have come upon is the idea of freedom and control. A lot of the techniques in the manga deal with taking control of another persons body and losing your personal freedom. For example oro used his body switch tech, kakuzu took people's hearts, the impure world res tech, Tobi's moon eye plan, etc...

Any thoughts?

I mean that those techs take away a persons freedom. So you can see that edo tensei guys hate being forced to fight and not control their bodies.
The techs used by the good guys don't work like that (none that I can think of)
