On a day where there was nothing much to do, Mystogan decides that he would visit the local arena to see if there were any interesting battles going on that he could watch. And if he was lucky enough, he would have a chance to battle for himself. Upon arrival yamato perceives a man standing in the middle of the sandy arena.

Only you huh? I'll be your challenger! Best of luck good sir!

Mystogan grabs his for staves on his back and places then evenly in the ground in front of him.

He channels his chakra into the soles of his feat and jumps on the staff directly in front of him (the one he's holding in the image above). Upon balancing on top of the staff with both of his legs, he crouches on top of it and grabs the tip of the staff with his right arm.

Get ready, here I come!

Mystogan jumps forth very high with great speed whilst holding his staff in his right hand. As he comes down towards the opponent he spins the staff really fast and then throws at his opponent with deadly precision. As this happens he grabs a kunai from his pouch and waits to land on his opponent and stab him with the kunai.

(he's still in mid air directly above your opponent)​

A man garbed with robes entered the arena, harboring 5 staves of different affiliations. Interesting. Ryuken wiped his glasses, while simultaneously grabbing his bow. Placing the staves into an abnormal formation, chakra emitted from the staves, before the man leaped with his staff, towards him. The man spun the staff and directed the aim towards Ryuken, before releasing it with blinding speed. He turned to his side, quickly grabbing the spear and placing it on his bow. The speed and roughness of the spear had scarred his left hand, but it wasn't major enough to immobilize his hand. He pulled back the staff, and released the string, causing the spear to return back to the man, with a much greater force. (the head of the staff is coming at you, not the end lmao)

Mystogan's eyes go wide in surprise. Wow he thought. He was amazed at the opponent's ingenious resource. Now that his own spear headed towards him with great speed, Mystogan knew that he couldn't simply dodge it, so that meant that he had to perfectly time his movement. Mystogan stretched out his left leg in front of him and tilted his ankle sideways. When his staff was within range he swiftly kicked the tip of it. This caused the staff to turn horizontally and then Mystogan placed both of his feet on it, continuing down towards his opponent (the staff is placed beneath him a bit like a skateboard). Then within a few seconds, Mystogan crashes down onto his opponent with he staff placed on the man's neck and pinning him down. Mystogan holds a kunai to the guys forehead.

The man miraculously avoided his attack, and is now riding the staff like a skateboard. Ryuken cracked a small grin Impressive.. But there was no time acknowledging the man. In moments, the staff could hit his throat and cost him the victory. He grabbed his bow as he performed a low, swift roll away from the direction of the staff. (now in short-mid range so like 5 meters) He quickly got some cloth and wrapped it around his wounded left hand. Ryuken grabbed 3 shurikens as he threw them simultaneously, one headed for your neck and two headed for your legs, in hopes to immobilize you.

The opponent quickly dives and rolls away to the side as Mystogan falls. Mystogan kicks on side of the staff down to make it vertical and then kicks the tip of it downwards so that it's rooted into the sandy ground. He prepares to land on the ground, and when lands with a thud he swiftly turns 180 degrees only too see 3 shurikens flying towards him. Mystogan immediately sticks an explosive tag to the kunai he already had and throws it towards the shurikens in formation. The explosion blows the shuriken's off their trajectory. Mystogan then grabs his staff and taunts his opponent. Is that all you got?​
