At long last the greatest blight on my home state and arguably the most hated individual in America is about to kick the bucket. For those of you who don't know who Phelps is he started the "God hates ***s" campaign and is famous for protesting at the funerals of gays and American military personnel as he believed that they died defending a country that tolerated homosexual behavior.
He has also famous for slandering pretty much every other religion, celebrity of note, child abuse, and brainwashing and indoctrinating the youth of his church from an early age. (I have personally seen a four year old member holding a sign saying ***s burn in Hell.)
This crusty old bastard ought to burn real nice like don't you think?

You know... I am not really saddened by his imminent passing - his misguided efforts caused more harm than any free society should have to tolerate... but I honestly do not hope he burns in hell or finds misfortune. I hope he comes to understand the flaws in his being and that he finds it within himself to pursue amends. Perhaps it will be postmortem that he is figuring it out - but I do hope he does figure it out.
