Me too. I dropped it and then I heard about Tartarus, which also ended badly. The arc after that was terrible. Natsu one shotted a GOD XD

every series has its winning mentality title, so its only fair for it to end the way it does, and as for Natsu defeating both sting and Rogue it was already fortold when Sting underestimated both natsu and gejeel and sting and rogue dragon force is the weakest of all because they used their own magical power to obtain it. so its no0 surprising that Natsu was enough to beat them.
Because listening to people's commentaries and theories on YT vids makes me nauseous and irritated, like some insects are crawling under my skin, so I'm really not going listen to someone's rant on YT (I mean who is that guy supposed to be?). Especially not when it's a rant of 15 minutes when I don't even know which chapter 322 is supposed to be. Infamous? The fact that I don't know it by default, it means it's not infamous. Apparently based on this thread it's the one where FT kicked ass during the GM Games, which is one of my favourite chapters of all time. The fact that someone would have posted a 15 minute rant about that chapter on YT, makes it nearly certain it's again the I-went-to-see-a-football-game-but-I-expected-to-see-a-basketball-game-so-now-I-am-going-to-rant-how-bad-the-football-game-was-because-it-was-not-a-basketball-game - type of guy, meaning torturing myself with that bogus would be a complete waste of my time because he's ranting for the sake of ranting.

Fairy Tail is nowhere near Naruto's tier. Don't get me wrong. There are some things that I do like. Laxus is my fav. Such a boss. But there's barely any sense of danger. Every single time a fight comes up, it always ends in a Friendship and Feelings asspull like Erza vs Kyoka, Natsu one shotting a GOD, chapters 321-322, Natsu defeating Sting & Rogue, and so forth. FT is the representation of every Shonen Manga cliche there is, plus there's the semi Hentai level worth of Fanservice that just keep being shown in every single chapter. It's just horrendous. And it rips off a lot of panels from One Piece.
But I still like Zeref, Acnologia, and Laxus. I still want to see Gildarts in this arc. I even like a lot parts in the series. The beginning of Tartarus is AWESOME. I already know friendship & feelings, including a ton of Dues Ex Machima is gonna be part of Spriggans, Zeref, and Acnologia's defeat, which is why I'm not getting my hopes up. Sorry, but it's the truth. There's no point in denying it.
Plus, my favorite series is Berserk. Not Naruto. Unlike some Naruto fans, I actually acknowledge there's a lot of cringe worthy parts of it I do not like. The moment Obito showed up, the series went downhill.

Sting dropped to his knees after coming face to face with an exhausted FT for a final battle. He just looked at him, started sweating profusely, and started quivering like a little girl and gave up. He could've easily taken with Dragon Force, but gave up. Such a disappointment. That's when I dropped him as my fav.
After being blasted to smithereens, Lector shows up and is still alive. Him and Sting reunite in tears. UGH!
Chapters 321-322 is said to have killed FT as a series.
