Humiliation and embarassment intertwine

Like thorns around my heart that align

Memories bind me to the past I had left behind

Small moments that I will forever relive through my mind

Punishing and cursing myself is how I get by

Lost loves and missed romances have left me dry

There are wounds that wont heal even if I did cry

Again memories infect my brain by day and night

And I even pray to a God that I dont believe in

To at least confide all my tragedies that are cutting me from beneath

"Oh my sorrow, would I ever find the forgiveness that comes from within?"
