Could this be a possible unnoticed attempt by Kishimoto to foreshadow the Sage himself?

I mean, why hasn't his face been shown to us? The usual reason for someone's face being hidden in Naruto is that this someone is a familiar and known character.

That^ theory is solid. No arguing against it. Therefore the Sage of the Six Path's has a face, that is also known by us all!
