Naruto is soon going to get that half too and we would be able to see a new mode. Sage Mode alone is not sufficient to fight the juubi's jinchuriki. With this powerup and the collaboration of tobirama/sasuke/minato ,they will defeat Obito and Madara will finally become serious. He will show his trumph card:we all know that madara's trumph card is linked to infinite Tsukuyomi;that has always been his lifelong goal. Perhaps, Hiruzen will finally act because I think Kishi is preparing something big for him. By the way, he can still regenerate as Tobirama/Hashirama are on the battlefield.

To be honest I don't think the Hokages will be around by the conclusion of the battle. The fact that the Edo's can't regenerate seems like foreshadowing that at least one of them will be defeated.
