Foreshadowing a team 7 death?

Sasuke said narutos safety is his top priority basically. And naruto knowing sasuke is right agreed.

Clearly kakashi and sakura are out of their league in this fight.

It would make total sense to me for kaguya to target kakashi and sakura after realizing that naruto will do anything to protect them and sasuke is going to have to stop naruto from throwing his life in danger for them.

Imo kishi just set up for one of either kakashi or sakura to die. What do you guys think of this?

Plus, if Kakashi gets killed, Obito, who'll get "revived" by Naruto, will go on a rampage against Kaguya.

Or maybe it's meant to be symbolising that there is no shinobi alliance anymore and that it has quite frankly "burned away". Maybe the world is now a living hell, being further symbolised by the lava around them and Kaguyas words.

Kishi loves to repeat the past. Rin died before minato so therefore it could be sakura first then kakashi later. Their deaths will definately make naruto RAGE though.

True but the circumstances are too different. If she were going to die it would have been around the time Obito and Madara were pushing Naruto to snap. Kaguya has no reason to do this. Either Sakura would have to die protecting one of the two or she would have to be purposely targeted by Kaguya, which I don't see happening.
