It was only recently that i discovered how awesome foreign movies/cinema are to watch. It was a nice refreshing change from all the Hollywood movies i usually watch. I think that watching movies not from Hollywood is a great way to get some new entertainment and also learn about the different culture's and history of other countries. I love war movies the most and it was awesome to see some historical epics from Countries like Kazakhstan and Russia. I think that many people are too used to watching Hollywood movies in the U.S. that they don't give any other movies from other countries a try, which is a shame since there are some great foreign action flicks, comedies, drama, thriller out there that would be enjoyable.
Some awesome foreign movies i enjoyed personally:
The Nomad (Kazakhstan)
The Battle of Algiers (Italy)
Tali-Ihantala (Finland)
Talvisota (Finland)
Assembly (China)
Champ d'honneur (France)
Taegukgi (South Korea)
Mongol (Russia)
Admiral (Russia)
