Because if he is then he can provide us with more hindsight on how everything truly went down from the Holy Tree and what he was up to when his sons sealed his wife in the moon.
I remember hearing and reading other threads that he was in one of the castles in one of Kaguya's dimensions, so it's possible that Momoshinki could very well be Kaguya's husband and those dimensions we saw were created by both of them.
That being said, I really do hope that Momoshink and Kaguya are husband and wife. It would be a great addition to the lore and an excellent way to wrap it all up on top of that. But again, I cannot confirm this!
Now that the movie is out and a few people have seen it, perhaps the ones who have can can confirm if Momoshinki is the husband of Kaguya or not? Even if it's vague or at least in a clue/indication in the Boruto movie or not?
