How awkward was the experience for you? XD

I swear I walked in, and the room was packed full. So much clapping and cheering during fight scenes, awe's during emotional scenes and laughing during funny ones. One of the most liveliest movie audiences I've been apart of. Shout out to the dude that yelled "f**k" when Naruto got teleported away and had the crowd rollin.

It wasn't awkard at all. Majority of people were only screaming during certain parts of the movie, such as Sakura punching the part of the building that collapsed, Mitsuki revealing Oro was his parent, etc.

I remember when Boruto was putting Sasuke's headband on some chick said

"HELL YEAH THAT'S MY BABY" but you could tell it was a big black lady, and the whole crowd burst into laughter. People were clapping and shit.

A lot of people laughed at Mitsuki's parts, like when he jumped into a BoruSara moment when she was looking into his eyes, or when she was blushing at Boruto people were like "awwww"

Yeah, the crowd went dead when Mitsuki interjected and started looking at Boruto's eyes with Sarada, it was shocking too see even the manliest fans blurt out "aww", especially the scene where Bee was captured.

If every movie audience was like Naruto fans, it would be much funner to go.

It was a little awkward for me, but just because of the crowd I was in.

Im used to seeing movies with a live crowd, but I've never seen an anime film in theaters, as such I wasn't prepared for THAT type of crowd.

My experience involved fangirls sitting behind me whispering "Sasukaaaaaaay :bouncy:" every time he was on the screen. In front of me was a kid talking VERY loudly with the person next to him about every fact/observation he could think of during the entire film (the kind of stereotypical kid you would expect to find at an anime club at school). And fanboys/fangirls in-between those lines all throughout the audience. The theater was packed, and no one clapped or screamed in excitement like I was used to during midnight releases of films. There's nothing wrong with those kind of anime-lovers, I just wasn't expecting it and It was honestly a little distracting at times. Especially that kid in front of me.

I'd welcome the passion and enthusiasm rather than feeling awkward about it.

Yeah. I am a Highly Sensitive Person, but even I enjoyed the enthusiasm of the audience. Made it better, imo.

A rundown
Scenes that got claps
*Sarada's punch
*Bolt putting on Sasuke's headband
*Bolt's Rasenganing of the villain
*When Naruto and Sasuke stand side-by-side before their face-off.
*Kurama with the Susano armor
*When we see the flashbacks, and Jiraiiya is shown with the Rasengan

Scenes that got laughs
*Sasuke blocking Bolt's punch
*Sasuke dodging Bolt's attack, then his kick of him
*Konohamaru's excitement about passing on Rasengan to the 7th's son
*Shikadai throwing the match
*Sakura cheering when Sarada did her punch
*Naruto cheering at the thought of Bolt fighting Shikadai
*Sasuke saying Bolt was a bigger loser than Naruto.
*The biggest of all Mitsuki's reveal of his parentage, which got laughs, and one person exclaiming "WTF", with other saying "He looks like Orochimaru." Then Sarada keeps the laughter going when she asks if it's his mother or father.

Scenes that got gasps or shocked reactions
*Naruto taking Bolt's headband
*The clone disappearing and dropping Himi's cake

Then the misc of people making comments, but nothing annoying or obnoxious. Like some "Ooing" when Bolt tells Naruto not to forget Himi's b-day, and one member saying "he told him", which got some laughs
But I liked that. Good energy. It made for a good time, in addition to a good film. Only Naruto film I saw in a theater / screening. And can't wait for the DVD release.

damn, I didn't get a chance to see Boruto or Resurrection of F (had exams during its limited release ). I would've loved to be a part of such an enthusiastic crowd* XD

I didn't mind it. I actually had a better time at the RoF showing months ago. When Gohan was one shotted by Frieza, hearing someone shout out "KO" and "Flawless victory" was hilarious. Hell I even heard a couple of "Gonna need a sensu bean for that one" jokes.

It was crowded to the point where i had to sit in the bottom on the left side of the theater. The people usually clapped at action scenes, touching scenes and so forth. It was funny that people got mad when mitsuki was about to say who's his dad but himawari interrupts him. :lol

When I saw it there were barely any people there. Maybe because it was an early showing. No one seemed to know who the hell Mitsuki was. Didn't help he barely got any screentime. The group next to my friends thought he was the villain from the previous movie who tried to marry Hinata.

Everyone liked the movie, but wished they showed more of the chuunin exams.

Awkward? Not at all. After watching every spoiler clip I could find, the movie still surprised me and exceeded my expectations.

Plus it was great to watch Naruto somewhere besides my iPad/tv - and with a crowd who appreciates it as much as I do.

If it's still playing somewhere, and you haven't seen it yet, just do it. You'll be glad you did.

I'd welcome the passion and enthusiasm rather than feeling awkward about it.

Exactly.

It really would be awkward if everyone just sat silently. The reaction I experienced in Japan wasn't quite like that though; it was more subtle gasps throughout the movie followed by a standing ovation at the end.

The only time I've experienced such excitement during a movie was when I saw HPDH2, esp. at the "not my daughter, you ******" part.

It's the exact opposite of Narutobase. Everyone is enthusiastic about irl but here everyone is hateful and critical. Shame.
