That's not the reason people hate him. People hate him because he hasn't really developed. In part one he just screamed "i'm gonna be hokage!" over and over until somehow miraculously people believed in him. The greatest point in his story was when he nearly succumbed to his hatred and released the nine tails. That's why those moments were so deep. Now he's back to screaming "i'm gonna be hokage!" except now he's added "i'm gonna save the world!" It gets old.

And JUST as i thought we would have another touching moment where he questions himself with obito, the moment lasts all of 2 seconds before hinata changes his mind with a speech we just heard from neji. People may not agree with sasuke's motives, but at least he's changing and growing throughout the story.

I made this thread after seeing all those threads made by people based on their hatred towards naruto, that too for very stupid reasons
Do you even know what fanboyism is? I don't think telling people that he is just human and he too can make mistakes and isn't perfect like the rest of makes me get ANYWHERE close to being a fanboy

Wrong Naruto has changed a lot. People who dislikes him isn't really paying attention to his character development and only base his character on how they view him... Just like you just did^

still, do you really think that's a good reason to HATE a character? and he has changed, just because he hasn't become evil doesn't mean he hasn't changed

If anything, i would have been if his development after fighting pain, was at the end of the series. After having that huge development where he now knows his parent's wishes and knows that hate is not the answer, he should have taken those convictions to fight sasuke, who had just learned his hatred after the danzo fight, but instead that progress was brushed aside with this war where naruto gets to scream and shout his desire to become hokage. It's like "Naruto, i get you want to be hokage, how about worrying about saving your friends and the f***ing world first?"

-Edit- Also the fact that his fighting style is boring as hell now. Minato was cool because we saw him fight twice, and he was badass. After years of fights, and dozens of battles, naruto's style is the same and is old. He needs something new.

Part 1- Rasengan: Cool!
Part 2- Bigger Rasengan: Ok, still cool.
Sage Mode: Bigger and More rasengan: Meh. But throwing Rasenshuriken: Cool!
Kyuubi Mode: Faster and more rasengan and new way to throw Rasenshuriken: Ok...
Bijuu Mode: Different Rasengan that is still used the same way: Boring.

And personally i don't like watching monsters fight in a ninja manga.
