We have seen Kubo go all out on character designs in the past. Remember this guy? I sure as hell do.

I feel like Kubo has this freaky side of him that he just needs to unleash out every now and again.

Kubo eats too much acid before sitting down at the drawing board. I actually like the absurdity most of the time but it was a little hard to grasp how it looked when Lille started changing shapes at one point he had a hammer head thing happening with his eyes on the sides.
