Don't worry it makes sense that she doesn't get spotlight now in boruto anime .

In the future there's like 5 episodes centered on her(Naruto gaiden)

That's why the boruto anime isn't focusing on Sarada now because they want us to show us more of the main character before giving her 5 episodes .

Boruto appeared in 1 chapter of Naruto gaiden . Pushing the main character aside is hard to do that's why they're giving him as much spotlight as possible now so that Sarada can shine in Naruto gaiden adaptation .
