Surprised this thread stayed alive after it was reconstructed Lol

But question: To anyone who believes big bang theory is true, is it 100% provable/true? This is not, is it more believable because that is subjective.
Don't get what you were trying to say there but ok.

Also, true in terms of what? True and false are subjective in their own right. #StayWoke.

Well, we can't be sure of anything, we can just make assumptions. I personally don't believe in Bible, I think it is just a mythology to explain the world, such as the greeks, scandinavians and egyptians did, for example. I think the myths are more a metaphor to explain natural phenomena and stories that carry some moral value and ethics from a specific folk.

But I'm not an atheist. I don't believe our universe came out from nowhere. Maybe the Creator is the natural force that made that and keeps the natural circle. Maybe God is the Nature itself, which created its own laws.
You say that the Bible is a book of mythology to explain the world, but really only Genesis 1 and some odd verses in the OT talk about the creation of the universe. And the stories don't really carry that much moral value if Jesus claimed to be God but actually wasn't. Thus, you're calling a liar's (and his disciples') stories moral. Kinda twisted, eh?

OT: The goal of science is to learn more with time. The beginning of the universe is something that hasn't been found out yet, speaking from a non-theistic perspective. It might seem like a cop-out, but meh. It's how it is.

Well then, just because people can't explain about God,doesn't make him a magic trick.

I know all about the theory on how our universe was created. After all I'm highly interested in science.
It's not a fact these energy in the form of light is the first step in creating what we know now.
Something had to fuel that energy yet no one can fully explain it.
Never once stated God was a magic trick. I myself am agnostic. I'm not going to believe some book that explains a bunch of improbable scenarios that created society as we are now. I'd rather stick to science and what they can theorize based off of research and proper studies.

I agree that something had to fuel the energy and I have no idea. I'd have to do more research.

I remember seeing or hearing that the Big Bang theory was being tested/has been tested by using the Large Hadron Collider (a particle collider). Nothing is definitive, but there's that piece of information for you.

Pick true or provable, they were divided by the slash for a reason Lol

It's good that the theory is making more progress, I didn't expect it to be a 100% theory or it would not be controversial.

I grew up in church and went to a Christian school all my life. I was taught that God is real but we should question everything so we believe it ourselves. So after studi g evolution and creation in my view both are true in a sense. I believe we were created not millions of years ago more like 5-6000 years cause that whole rock date the fossils fossils date the rocks is bullshit btw. Now we as a species has evolved throughout the years not from amoebas to fish and so on but from starting fires to building rockets kinda way. Monkeys should still be evolving today if the process starred millions of years ago but there're not guys. I Don't really be live in God as the sense He is "God) I think someone or something created us. Meaning God might be a Alien or something else Cosmic Entity, Celestial Being whatever. Our only way to summarize what that Divity is; is the word or idea "God". It may sound cheesy but shows like Anchient Aliens kindof explains my way of thinking a little. But long and short something created us and then we evolved and continue to do so.

This was the dumbest thing I've ever read. Monkeys are just as evolved as humans. They took a different evolutionary path. Why does no one ever understand this? Apes will never turn into humans. Humans and apes started off as the same thing, but went different directions. Humans have large brains, but weak bodies because our brains require huge amounts of calories as is. Apes have strong bodies, but lack the intelligence of humans because their bodies require huge amounts of calories. And the 5000 year thing. Please tell me that you're kidding. And Ancient Aliens? Do you think strippers like you as well?

Hate to interrupt but you don't have to be so harsh, when someone makes a mistake, it only fuels the stereotype that intellectual/smart people are like that, which further boosts people from not asking questions and listening to popular myths told through media/entertainment. Then again this is the internet.....Zzz

You're right. Everyone should be entitled to their opinions and they should be properly educated where they are wrong. This way we all grow as a society. But not this guy. His opinion is worthless and he is beyond help if he was being serious

Lol that type of mentality keeps knowledge stagnant. My point was, you don't have to insult/ridicule in the process of proving your point/belief/stance. I understand if you run out of patience, but starting right off the bat is sort of unsightly imo.

Did you read his post? And you're calm about it? He is a person that could walk the same streets as you. Maybe he'll mess up your order at McDonald's some day. And he honestly believes what he wrote. He is beyond help

Currently the Human brain has not evolved enough to understand the universe.

How can we even try to unravel the mysteries of the universe when we are shackled by the bonds of mortal living.

hmm maybe you are wrong..
Always a possibility and I reserve the right to change my opinion if and when new evidence is presented. But literally nothing short of the All Mighty coming down in front of me and crapping out a living being would change it

You would enjoy the Last Question and The Last Answer by Issac Asimov. Two fantastic short stories that address this

Some of his post was wrong, but there is no reason to lose civility over it. At this point, I don't know why I'm defending him this much. Either way it shouldn't take too much effort from you/anyone to try to post without insulting. I do find it funny how you have made all these assumptions just from one post..Lol

Seriously. Stop defending him. I respect you. You are coherent and intelligent. We can assume from his lack of spelling and grammar, that he is of a lower intelligence. He might have a high school diploma or he might be trying to finish freshman year for the third time. He probably has a part time job at McDonald's. Or better yet, Burger King since they can never get an order right

What did god ever do to you make you hate him that much?
God? Nothing. It would be irrational to hate him.
