Naruto and his comrades became at this point the main targets in this war, since basically, it's Naruto and his friends who face Madara. Tsunade and Oonoki should have already been killed by Madara, so should have Kakashi by Obito. I don't see why Kishimoto is keen on keeping them alive.

And up to this point, they only target fodders.

Naruto's comrades have not become a main target in this war. They are not even really key players. The goal of the villains is infinite tsukuyomi. Naruto's friends have done nothing to significantly hinder that goal. To the villains, they are no different from the "fodders". Therefore there is no reason for them to receive special attention.

No, the list you gave us are all fodder character to the plot except Neji ( Who is bound to be Naruto Friend)

No one of any importance died, so in other word, this doesn't feel like real war, we need main character to die.

Tsunade and Onoki should've died, as well as Kakashi, and Gai using 8th gates and some of the Konoha 11.

Killing of Edo Hokage will not count because they were dead to begin with, there's no sense of danger among them.

Besides Neji who exactly has died in this war?Kakashi did'nt die when he should've several times from overusing Kamui, nobody except for fodder and forgetful characters have been killed.

I've been reading Beserk lately and I like the battles that go on in the manga because literally nobody gets out of one unscathed.

Oh, so the chief strategist isn't important? What about the chief communicator? You are not thinking realistically about war. Eagle, if you ever go to war, do you expect your enemies to say "raise your hand if you are one of Eagle's friends. We don't care about the rest of you."? I hope you would not expect that to be the case. You would not be considered special and neither would your friends (unless you are a key player in the war). Your enemies would shoot at you, your friends and any old random Joe indiscriminately. Naruto's comrades are not the focus of this war. They are not even that important. Naruto, Bee and the other bijuus are really the only important targets because they're needed for infinite tsukuyomi.

Watching Shizune die had more impact than this and Naruto wasn't even around when it happened. :|

I'm sure if you put in the time and effort you could find the life stories of any WW1+2 vet.Does seeing Random Fodder #24321 die make you feel anything besides a resounding "meh"?

This is because the world war gets actually exist to share their life stories, while the "fodders" are fictional people. This is why we can't get a life story from them. If they existed, then we'd be able to get life stories from them like we can with the world war vets.

Oh yeah I completely forgot about this fodder what his name again, you know shikamaru dad and Ino Dad?? Yeah they're unimportant, they do not contribute enough to the plot so I don't feel anything bad.

Only ones anyone cared about dying were:

1. Neji
2. Kabuto
3. Obito (Soon)

Your feelings are irrelevant. An important death in a war is defined as the death of a key player (ie. someone like a strategist). It is not based on whether or not some random guy (you) feels anything.

You seem to not understand what the people want.

Many people aren't looking for random deaths, they're looking for deaths with impact.

Neji wasn't even important for 90% of Shippuden, but still his death made a heavy impact.

Shikaku is Inoichi were probably the only two a person would remotely care about in that building. Why? Their deaths had impact, they had closure.

The point is for the reader to go "Oh shit (s)he's really dead." Not getting sucked into a magic gourd with the most dull reaction, in the most fodder way (in the literal sense of the word) and most importantly, being completely forgotten in the series.

I see what you are saying. However, from the stand point of whether or not this is a war, the people's feelings are irrelevant. Does the fact that you don't care about random Joe's death in world war 2 make it any less of a war? No it doesn't. Feelings don't matter. It is only the events themselves that matter. From a business standpoint of making money on Kishi's part, feelings matter. That is a different issue however. I am talking solely about the fact that this is in fact a war. I am not talking about what is good for business for Kishi.

You're right, in fact Neji in Shippuden wasn't Important in Shippuden, but he doesn't get proper deaths when he randomly get killed off in one single chapter, but he still considered to be important to Naruto.

Only reason why to me Neji is important is cause I'm a Neji :snick: Fanboy

So we can't express our feeling if anyone who's killed off as a main character??

I'm not saying that you can't express your feelings. I am just saying that your feelings don't really matter when determining what an important death is. The death of a key player is important whether you care about that person or not.

No one of importance? Shikaku was the chief strategist. Inoichi was the chief communicator. Ao was the chief sensory person with the water bubble. Mabui was the raikage's assistant (and the raikage is the supreme leader of the alliance), and Neji was a Konoha 11 member (so he was close to the main character). How much more important can you get?

Like I said NO ONE OF IMPORTANCE we don't care about any of those characters except neiji we don't know them why should we care. An important death is someone like kakashi or killer bee people like them that we know and love but are expendable.

By you guys' standards, there are not a lot of primary characters for Kishi to kill off. Not every death can be someone close to Naruto. Read my responses to miromiro, Obito Uchiha the wrath and blazekev90.

No no one that died except neiji was even worth mentioning. The characters that have died aren't even enough to be secondary characters they are... Thirdary characters in league with no name fodder almost.

Fine then, it's up to them to determine if they're important to the story but to most people, everyone don't find these characters important, they're irrelavent and thats how we view them to categorize as "fodders".

Wrong. An important death is the death of someone who is a key player in stopping infinite tsukuyomi (since that is the main goal of the antagonists). Kakashi (despite being a general) and Konoha 11 do not fall into that category. They are just soldiers like every other "fodder". The only people that really fall into this category are Naruto, Bee and the bijuus since their deaths/capture were necessary for the villains to complete the moon eye plan. Shikaku was much closer than people like Kakashi and Tsunade to falling in this category because Shikaku came up with strategies and intel about things like how to stop the juubi and Madara's vulnerability to taijutsu. Naruto's friends are irrelevant and essentially the same as "fodder". Your feelings and the impact that the death makes on you is also irrelevant. Only events and key players matter in determining what is important.

Quite the contrary actually. Naruto's friends and most of the characters that you guys consider major are the irrelevant ones technically. The only relevant ones are those who do something that hinders the opponents' goal of infinite tsukuyomi. Naruto's friends have done no such important thing. They are irrelevant and so are your feelings. Only jinchuurikis and bijuus matter technically because their survival actually hinders infinite tsukuyomi. People like Shikaku matter because he strategized on ways to stop the juubi (which would of course hinder the genjutsu). Other than people who significantly hinder the goal, the rest of the deaths that you want are unnecessary and irrelevant. They are basically the same as "fodder".

Lol, now you contradict yourself

First you said these so called fodders that you claim they are not Unimportant are important

But now you said that the main characters who are relavent to Naruto not these fodder
