not only did he just use it.

but tsunade and those 3 other ninjas used it.

its stated multiple times that hiruzen knew all jutsu within konoha .

in the very first episode the shows the scroll of kage seals says the kage pass their jutsu to each other

which definitely would have had ftg in it

hiruzen got the scroll both before and after minato

and HE JUST ****ING USED IT

He didn't just use it, Minato's markings on his kunai are unique only to him. That being said, Tobirama and Hiruzen were transported by Minato himself, that's why he said "Nidaime, Sandaime, come before me" and them he transported them to the kunai. Tobirama has a different version of FTG which is why he was transported along with Hiruzen.
