[Discussion] For Those not Watching One Piece

First off, for all the OP haters, please refrain from posting on this thread. No one wants to hear how much you hate One Piece.

To those that have not given One Piece a chance or have given up on it, well you are in luck. Tonight on Toonami is the start of one of the most awesome arcs in One Piece(well technically it is the end of the last arc but this information is needed to understand everything in the coming arc). Basically all the annoying fillers are FINALLY over. Where they started One Piece on Toonami was probably the worst place they could have(worst arc in One Piece followed by filler episodes).

This is the arc that most people get hooked at. There are arcs before this that are good and make people like One Piece, but this is where people fall in love with it and why people rate One Piece so high.

If you haven't given it a chance or want to give it another chance, I suggest to watch tonight and next week. They will be just the beginning of the epicness that is yet to come.


DISCLAIMER
Watching One Piece from the beginning with subs is the best possible experience to get the full benefit out of One Piece. Doing what I'm telling you above is still a good way to enjoy One Piece, but it is not the best way. This is just a cheap way to get hooked fast.

Starts off with Bleach, followed by uncut Naruto, then One Piece. Pretty awesome having the big three on one network.

Depends on your taste. Some people liked it from the start, some from Alabasta, some later. I personally got into it the most at Alabasta.

Are you talking about Ennies Lobby Arc? TBH I got hooked on One Piece right from Chapter 1.... Lol Lol
Though for me One Piece became my #1 all time fav during Ennies Lobby Arc and to be exact from the scene where Sogeking shoots down WG Flag on Luffy's orders....

I have found another use for my thread beside educating people about OP. I can prove people cant read a sentence of a post without commenting.

There are good episodes 20 episodes in. One Piece just starts off shaky with crappy animation, then just gets better and better. This arc is just especially good because not only is the arc filled with a sense of not knowing what will happen next, but you also get a good glimpse of the overall arcing plot going on. Like in Naruto it is getting rid of hate. We don't really see this fully until the Pain Arc. These episodes start about 200+

Depends on your taste. Some people liked it from the start, some from Alabasta, some later. I personally got into it the most at Alabasta.

I got into it after Skypiea, but I didn't really care for Thriller Bark. CP9 and Water 7 really got me into it.

Yeah, Thriller Bark didn't interest me that much either. Skypeia is where I started paying attention for real to all that was happening.

Yeah. After Skypiea I took a 3 month break because I got burnt out. Good thing I didn't completely drop it. It got so much better, especially at Marineford. The way a war should be done.

Yeah Funimation has done a great job.... I have Funimation dub eps till 260.... =D =D
