***Important - This is a thread only for the unaware, so if you are already aware of this, don't comment saying you know or anything remotely similar. It'll only make me want to yell at you.***
For those who are not aware, the Bleach Anime will be unlikely to return after episode 366.
This is not for the manga storyline to progress. The show was axed due to the ridiculous amount of filler. There are almost as many filler episodes for the show as there are plot episodes. Now, before anyone starts mentioning that Naruto and other Anime have alot of filler, Bleach made a step in the wrong direction when they decided to do filler arcs. While it's true that sometimes filler episodes can be great, people wanted to see the story progress after Aizen's defeat. They wanted to see something just as good, if not better. But that never happened. Even the Fullbring arc wasn't that great.
Now, there are those who have seen a twitter post from Tite Kubo saying he signed a contract with TV Tokyo and that the Bleach anime was to resume March 2013. Ignore that. It's fake. Tite Kubo has absolutely no say in what goes into the anime, the Manga is his work. The Anime was directed by Noriyuki Abe, and as of March 2012 there have been no new episodes of the Bleach Anime, suggesting that the show will Not get a reboot anytime soon. Maybe when the Manga is finished, the Anime will get a reboot. Don't get your hopes up though, there have been no official announcements suggesting that the Anime will get a reboot. As I stated previously, the Anime was axed due to all the filler episodes. There are only 201 plot episodes, leaving 165 filler episodes. That's 45% of the Anime being made up of fillers. As such, this leaves people very disappointed.
Now then, to end this thread, I will leave the list of Filler episodes. Remember, this is just for those who aren't aware and are still wondering.
