I dont think hes an uzumaki either, or from any other clan for that matter.
When i say clan i refer to shinobi clans, as these clearly developed after the sage had founded the ninjutsu techs that shinobi would use.

sage was not senju + uchiha. .these two are his powers not the clan itself. .he divided his powers to create stability . .it's unknown from which he came from . .maybe uzumaki . .or maybe not. .

Senju (Yin chakra on the juubi) & Uchiha (Yang chakra of the juubi) were a result of the sage after he became the juubi's jinchuuriki. Rikudou isnt senju + uchiha because those clans didnt even exist back then. The senju+uchiha were a creation of the rikudou + the juubi.

There is nothing in the manga that contradicts the otherwise flawless theory of rikudou being an uzumaki, it is a logical certainty.

The senju and uchiha are really just uzumaki and hyuuga clansmen that have more of the juubi's yang and yin chakra in them than the pure clansmen which gives them different powers and increased strength.

What I cannot fathom is the assumption of some members that people only started to decide becoming blood relatives during the formation of Shinobi Clans, logic and common sense suggest that blood relations extended back to the pre-ninjutsu era and that these pre-ninjutsu blood relatives/families were the progenitors of the modern day Shinobi Clans. The Rikūdo Sennin was a human priest, and like any other human he has a heritage, and logic and evidences suggest that heritage is the Uzumaki heritage.

i get what you're saying but who knows. he could have possibly wasn't born to any clan just like jiraiya and kakashi, they don't have any clans.
