The soul king seems to be the father of Yhwach if I got it right which certainly makes things interesting but more importantly soul king triggered my attention and then I remembered this:

I'm always saying that SK is humanoid Hogyoku.

Hogyoku can give powers to others. SK can do the same (He gave ouken to RG). Yhwach, can give Schrifts to other people.

Yes Aizen was trying to gain the power of a god, had he wasnt stopped, he may have become like the soul king. The soul king made an appearance before.

Or Aizen and the soul king, Aizen is gonna have something to do with all this you know, its just gonna happen. This chapter was the first time Bleach has been good in so long.

I hope Ichigo doesn't become the soul king...I don't think he would be happy living in a bubble in a room somewhere

Since it seems the hogyoku resembles the SK So much, I thinks it's supposed to give a temporary power up to it's wielder to match the SK s power. Just like How 8th gate gai in naruto is said to have the same power as an hokage

I was thinking the same thing lol.

As soon as I saw that image, I thought of Aizen. But it's crazy how the Soul King is Yhwach's father; it does explain him being so powerful, having the crazy eyes, and also being inhuman.

I wonder why he died so easily though?
