If you are going to be actually using it for heavy duty, no. For normal precaution it will be fine, though if you go sledding and your phone starts bugging, don't be surprised.

Even if it is, it's as ugly as sin.

I wouldn't dream of covering up my 6 in that, besides, part of the Apple experience is the feel of the premium materials.

Dents, cracks, and scratches give a phone character. I've never used cases. Be a man. It's going to be outdated in 6 months anyway, no one will give it a second glance after that.
