For most Naruto fans, I'd say don't read beyond either Chpt. 691 or 698 & here's why!
Honestly, for me, I would not read beyond chapter 691. The Naruto vs. Sasuke fight was rushed and could have had way more potential so that's why. However, nothing could even compare to the horrific ending that we all got and even some of the most die hard fans of the series have to admit that at least chapter 700 has a ton of problems!!
Here is my critique of chapters 699 and 700:
First off, Guruguru somehow disintegrates after IT is finished which makes no sense at all, he could have been a potential villain or at least a sidekick of Toneri in The Last Naruto movie. Then you have Sasuke depart the village again which pretty much makes all of the effort of bringing Sasuke back to the village for nothing aside from bringing him to the side of good again.
Also, rather than NaruSasku which was the most logical pairing of the series, Kishi just decided to appeal to the fans by confirming NaruHina along with SasuSaku as cannon! *sigh*
But that's not even the half of it! The children they have look awful and have awful names along with it. And I am not just talking about the NaruHina and SasuSaku kids here either. Choji x Karai? Seriously!? That doesn't even make any sense. Then you have the Gokage with Mei Terumi still not married (seems she had a happier life in IT) and somehow Onoki is still alive. Gaara looks like a homophobic hitler, that hairstyle s almost as bad as Naruto's new hairstyle, which is another con of this chapter btw.
To top it off, what is with the technology? The guards standing by the village gates basically have giant mechanical blindfolds and the village has gargantuan skyscrapers behind it. Now I am sorry, but civilizations do not progress that fast.
Overall, if I were to rate both chapters 699 & 700 since they are a double issue! I would overall rate them a 3/10 or 2/5 stars!
I can come to terms with NaruHina and SasuSaku, but the fact that Salada has an obvious crush on Bolt like how Hinata did with Naruto, Kishi might as well have made it NaruSaku rather than F*cking Bolt x Salada. It's pathetic!
The Pros of these two chapters:
1. IT is undone.
2. Kakashi became Hokage
3. Bee is still alive.
4. Gai is still alive and well.
5. Naruto became Hokage finally!!!
The Cons/Plot holes of these two chapters:
1. Way too many to even point out!! Could go on for hours, possibly days pointing them all out. --_--
*EDIT*: I take part of that back, I can list some, but not all them:
1.5. K11 was naming naruto as 7 hokage instead of calling his name. It was Looking like they are not even remember him as his old friend.
2. There was no hokage ceremony in 700.
3. There were no narutos feelings on becoming hokage.
4.Naruto didn't even remember jiraiya,minato when he brougt back sasuke or became a hokage.
5.Kishi should shown naruto going to jiraiyas and minato graves and thanking them.
6. Kishi ruined gaara by showing his hairs like 7 years old nugget.
7. Kishi shouldn't shown narutos and sasukes kids yet.
8. Naruto should have ended up with Sakura and Sasuke should have ended up with Karin. NaruHina and SasSaku make no sense at all.
9. The other pairings do not make any sense either, their kids names are awful looking with terrible names.
10. Naruto's kids somehow do not have the Byakugan.
11.Mei Terumi, the Fifth Mizukage, never got married. She had a better life under IT for crying out loud.
12. Kishi showed naruto too much mature even on the level of minato which doesn't suit his personality.
13. He should be showed as same naruto as in whole part 2.
14.The Skyscrapers behind the Leaf Village! WTF?!? Since when did The leaf village become futuristic Leaf City.
15. Not only should Naruto have gone to Jiraiya and Minato's graves, but also Obito's grave as well. Because even though Obito did some bad stuff, if it weren't for him, Naruto would not have won against Kaguya (which was the worst villain in the manga btw.). And the fact that Obito was just like Naruto at one point ultimately justifies the reason for Naruto visiting Obito's grave even further.
16. Kishi blindly copied dbz which ruined his unique manga story.
17. He is literally setting up Part 3 to become a second GT.
Need I say anymore? Like I said before, I could go on and on with the cons, but it would be too lengthy like how it already is.
BTW, if you read the bottom, Kishi confirmed Part 3, which if it is true that it is going to revolve around the kids or these abominable pairings, then it will not bode well at all!

This is the exact same mistake that Akira Toriyama made years ago withe the final chapter of DBZ, when he made Gohan a nerd and Trunks not wanting to fight anymore unless forced by his father Vegeta of course. That literally was the prelude to the abomination that is known today as Dragon Ball GT, in which the only good sagas in that series were the Baby Saga and Shadow Dragons Saga. Everything else was god awful!
What will make Part 3 worse is that Kishi himself will be writing it so there will truly NO EXCUSE AT ALL for Part 3's failure, which is extremely likely at this point! GET READY FOR NARUTO GT EVERYONE!! :Omg:
