Kakashi needs to win, but in order to win he must be the one to get back in the real world; this means to defeat by killing or making Obito unconscious or talking reason into the villain..

Inorder for Kakashi to return, he has to hold on to Obito, but Obito can just Kamui out, Kakashi cannot Kamui out, he can only send objects into the parallel Dimension and how would Kakashi implant it in his own eye, he's not a medical Ninja, and his body wouldn't withstand the Chakra usage.
