Lol, I liked love hina and ranma 1/2(my first manga). The funny thing is I didn't even know the latter was romance, since I was into martial arts.

It's pretty good, I think you would like it. A lot happens in it, that seems to be distracting but it only shows the increasing bond betwern the two. Love Hina was solid, it was probably the 5th/6th manga I read.
