i can reason with thisMonkeys?
In my country it's Jackal's wedding if it rains while the sun is shining simultaneously..
Interesting theory.i can reason with this
you are getting both rain (good for crops) and sunshine (good for grass, ergo sheep), which means all sides of natural life (in the form of farming, here) are being served or all sides of life (needs in the form of rain for crops and wants in the form of enjoyable sunshine) are being served with perfect balance (neither the rain nor the heat will be too much as their sources are sharing the sky), thus it is fitting that even the likes of jackals are having it good on such a prosperous day.
Interesting theory.
I looked it up before and search results showed similar stories are said across the world in many cultures. Just the animal changes:
Afrikaans / South Africa: "Jakkals trou met wolf se vrou" (The jackal marries the wolf's wife) or a "monkey's wedding" (umshado wezinkawu in Zulu).
India: "The sun is shining, it's raining — the jackal is getting married.
Japan: Kitsune no Yomeiri or the "fox's wedding".
Bulgaria: Bear is getting married,
Koreans: Tiger is getting married.
Yeah people call it a monkey’s wedding, it’s really common. I got taught that when I was a kid.
say, with the diversity of the subcontinent, do you not have it that some tribes are closer related to outsiders (mid/far easters) than to everyone else in the country? what of this so far, if so?Ah, now it makes sense. I didn't see the initial sentence earlier. It probably got scrolled up and I only noticed the quote and question.
