Fodder ANBU

anyone else thinking that almost every singe ANBU member ever dispatched, for recon or whatever else, ends up as dead fodder faster than if konohamaru replaced them? i understand the whole "pnj" stuff and all, but shouldnt the animators/kishi make the ANBU a little more resilient? i mean, "ANBU" is supposed to be strong. sure, they are perfect for fodder, but they kinda suck to the point that they look like they should go back to the academy, which is i think going a bit far for fodder.

anyone else thinking this? or does it simply not matter and this thread is fail. D:

Indeed. Anbu was fodderized like many other 'strong' characters. Bad storyline building.

for sure. the pain arc was a good one for everyone, and the ANBU did do a hell of a lot better than normal. thats why i said "almost" in my first post. ^^

sadly yes but to me they are the true shinobi hiding in the shadows, hunting rouge shinobi, taking orders directly from the Hokage and usually his personal guard is ANBU. i wish they were made out to be more bad ass then they are because their concept and idea is bad ass imo.

Anbu are powerful.. They only get beat or defeated by other anbu level ninja.. They arnt fodder.. Most of them are bad@$$
