Compares Quality -> Almost no difference but each file is almost 200mb more.

Not necessarily. 1080p just means that there are more pixels but not that it's better quality.
They could have easily just rendered 720p video in the dimensions of 1080p, hence the almost no quality change.

My monitor is 1080p, so when fullscreen, 1080p should really look better considering that fullscreen 720p means i'm stretching the image.

I don't understand how they stuck on an extra 200mb for 1080p when there is near to no quality difference.
