Flight From Paris to Cairo Gone "Missing"

(CNN) EgyptAir Flight 804 heading from Paris to Cairo disappeared from radar with 69 people on board, the airline said.

I wonder what happened. Terrorism? Pilot Error? Mechanical Failure? Unlikely these passengers are still alive.

Yeah, but I think it will be able to reach at least the stratosphere. Also, the concentration of oxygen is practically the same in troposphere and then it starts decrease linearly.

This is just like that Air Malaysia flight 370 that went missing two years ago. I'm guessing a mechanical failure. The radar going out might mean interference like they flew into a storm (highly unlikely but out the hundreds of flights in the world, its bound to happen).

They go missing from radar if they fly under radar (which really low that radar cannot detected)

It looks like it was a bomb-explosion caused by a terroristic attack.
German news are talking about Greek witnesses who allegedly saw a big explosion in the sky.
