"All that effort, and that's all you can muster? Please don't disappoint me, Elizabeth. I must see more." he said, almost hissing with that last part.

Elizabeth looked at Sasori, venom lacing her stare. this lil' asshat.. Elizabeth thought, secretly wishing he could read her mind. Sasori intruppting her thoughts continued,

"With this jutsu, we conclude the D-rank techniques. By molding your Raiton chakra in your hand, you'll release a wave of lightning bolts in a surge of energy. Relatively simple, but aim properly at your targets."

Elizabeth looked at Sasori and replied, "I don't like your tone, but I'll ignore it for now.."

Elizabeth looked at the dummies, and contained her laughter while saying, "I guess you guys are gonna be my 'play' friends for now."

Elizabeth walked back from the 5 dummies, reaching a resonable enough distance from them.

Elizabeth stood still, feeling a slight wind on her cheek she smiled to herself. She closed her eyes feeling the flow of chakra mingled in her organ system. She felt fast surges and slow flows, she put her focus towards the fast. Knowing by now it was Raiton chakra, she focused the rapidly fast flow toward both her hands. She felt them begin to amass, collect, moving quickly. Elizabeth knew she was reaching the limit; as if on command she thrust her left and right hand forward. Both shooting out bolts of lighting, she shoots instantaneously at the Konohagakure shinobi, and Sunagakure shinobi. And the Iwagakure shinobi, Amegakure shinobi, and Kirigakure shinobi.

Elizabeth looked back at Sasori and hummed, "...So, did I perform this properly. Or do you have a problem?" Elizabeth narrowed her eyes mockingly and continued merrily humming a tune..repeatedly.​

"Let's move onto the C-ranks, then. For the first one, weave three handseals and form a current in your hand. Using shape manipulation, release that current as a stream of lightning that travels towards your intended target. By controlling it, you can avoid certain obstacles and increase its range."

"For this exercise, I've set up a puppet behind that large boulder to your right. Use this jutsu and allow the Raiton to curve around the boulder and hit the puppet, without harming the rock."

Elizabeth tapping her foot impatiently looked at her sensei. And his evaluating eye's, not sure her tone was of any good or just problematic. She knew she proved her worth when he continued on saying,

"Let's move onto the C-ranks, then. For the first one, weave three handseals and form a current in your hand. Elizabeth nodded closing her eyes due to wariness. Elizabeth looked at the boulder that lay ahead, and thought of the puppet hidden behind it. "Don't play hard to get, puppet." Elizabeth muttered to herself.

Elizabeth stood directly in the view of the boulder and closed her eye's. The air was still but it was as if the world stopped. Elizabeth moved her hands forming the seals, Tiger → Snake → Dog.

Elizabeth gathers chakra from her stomach, directing its focus towards her right hand. She feels the chakra gather rapidly, its nature changing in the process. Once at full capacity Elizabeth quickly thrust her hands at the boulder, and out emits a current of lighting. Elizabeth moved hands toward the side of the boulder, causing the stream of lighting to take a turn around the boulder and "Zing!"

Elizabeth unsure of her performance of the newly learned technique. Walks to the boulder and halts when she see's the puppet behind the rock. Its face was hit..nice, Elizabeth thought.

Elizabeth looked at Sasori thinking he was going to to continue the slow pace they were going with. But, to Elizabeth enjoyment she noticed he starting to move.

Elizabeth watched as Sasori trekked over to a lake toward his right. Where she watched as Sasori summoned another puppet, allowing it to lay in the water peacefully.

Elizabeth looked at the puppet, frowning in disapproval. Sasori added,

"Finish that, and come over here. You'll create a wave of electricity again. Elizabeth did as instructed and went over to where Sasori said to go. She looked at the puppet in the lake along with water lilies on the surface. "A puppet on a lake, this scene screams creepy." Elizabeth mumbled.

Elizabeth stood before the lake and outstreched her arms in anticipation. She felt chakra in her stomach, her body and felt it collect. She focused this chakra to her hands and let it collect. The nature of the chakra changed, along with its properties and speed.

Elizabeth quickly shot the wave releasing the chakra which was now a destructive wave of lighting. Which was rushing towards the water, and once it touched the water. Elizabeth's eyes widened at the volts and shocks within the water causing the puppet to flop up around erratically.

The loud volts continued on for a while until the puppet looked about dead-if being burned counts aa dead. Elizabeth lookef from the lake back to Sasori at loss of words and shrugged.

Finally saying, "I hope those puppets of yours are non-refundable." Elizabeth looked at him waiting for a reaction.

"... non-refundable? My puppets aren't things that can be purchased or are for sale. They can be rebuilt, more beautiful, more artistic, more functional than before. Don't put them down to the level of goods." Sasori replied, slightly offended as any artist might have been. His expression didn't show anything, but his tone dropped those hints.

"Channel Raiton throughout your entire body, surrounding yourself with an electrical field that is compressed via shape manipulation. It's similar to the Raikage's lightning armor, but it can only endure a single attack before being dissipated. C-rank techniques can be blocked and defended from, nothing stronger. Anyone who tries touching you will be electrocuted."

Forming three handseals, Sasori touched the side of a rock formation that was beside the two shinobi. The lightning surged throughout the face of the cliff, cracking up the rocks and causing a wave of lightning-infused stone that crumbled down the cliff towards Elizabeth. If she didn't put up her Lightning armor, she would get crushed.

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together when near a cliff , the user causes stone and rock to become dislodged and rain down on anyone below it by releasing a wave of electrical energy which weakens the rock and makes it fall as it crumbles. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.​

Elizabeth looked at him and shrugged, for his lack of taking a joke. He quickly added on,

Elizabeth looked at him and muttered, "Oh my gosh.."

Elizabeth ready to get started thought of the Raikage, crazy man but extremly strong with or without his armor.

Elizabeth closed her eye's to concentrate, breathing in and out. Elizabeth felt chakra throughout her body, flowing slowly. She thought of the speed of Raiton and destructive capacity of it, she knew she needed an armor, almost resembling the likes of the Raikage. Soon after this trail of thought she begin to mold chakra equally all throughout her body. During this process she began to change the raw elemental chakra into Raiton chakra and discharged it everywhere from her body.

Elizabeth was in awe of the static, electric flow the armor had. She moved an arm slowly, seeing the aura-like armor vieled even her arms.

Elizabeth smiled in glee, proud of herself and of progress. Elizabeth still studying her armor closely, was interrupted by Sasori.

"Defend yourself from this..." he said, with wide eyes and a smile.

Elizabeth confused barely got to muttered a word before she saw him quickly carry on.

Elizabeth choked on her breath looked at the stone that would surely kill her if she didn't act soon.

Elizabeth stood firm in her position, seeing the stones tumble down towards her. When the rocks came down near her Elizabeth quickly extended her arms and thrust them on the biggest rocks in the avalanche; throwing its trajectory course away from her. The rocks collided into a pile of more rocks crumbling them all.

Elizabeth saw the armor intensify due to the contact with the rocks, and knew it no longer would be useful after one attack.

Elizabeth walked away from the depris left behing by the horrid avalanche. She walked back near Sasori snapping, "Trying to kill your students now, eh?"

Elizabeth still shaken up trying to lightened up her mood added, "..Knowing stories about you, you'll probaby use my body parts for a puppet. Elizabeth laughed and continued, "Didn't you say they'll be, 'more functional than before'."

Elizabeth now full blown giggling said, "Okay, okay sorrry if you get bent outta shape. But, did I do this right?"

The faintest hint of a smile crossed Sasori's otherwise thin lips. He seemed satisfied.

"Good. It seems you have your wits about you, Elizabeth. But to you use you as a puppet? That would be rather... fun, to say the least." the last part sounded almost true.

Now unraveling the rest of the C-rank Jutsu scroll, Sasori presented three distinct writings to his student. They read the following:

(Raiton: Shuurai Rappa no Jutsu) - Lightning Release: Lightning Strike Horn Technique

While controlling the weapons, the user cannot mold chakra for other techniques and needs to keep focus.​

By applying the principles of cloning, you'll create two 'clones' of the swords, making three in total which you can use to attack enemies with."

"Finally, the last C-rank jutsu is similar to previous techniques where you slam the ground and surge lightning through it, creating a radius attack up to short range around you."

Elizabeth looked back at Sasori, and noticed an attempt at a smile. Elizabeth waited for her next technique, Sasori said,

"Good. It seems you have your wits about you, Elizabeth. But to you use you as a puppet? That would be rather... fun, to say the least."

Elizabeth looked at Sasori with disbelief and complete bewilderment. Not sure if sarcasm or... Elizabeths trail of unsettling thought was cut short. She noticed Sasori unraveled the scroll, displaying writings.

Elizabeth stood by Sasori's right side observing the scroll of jutsu's. Sasori continued,

Elizabeth now sitting on a rock ready to pass out from boredom, snorts. She gets up from the rock and walks back up to Sasori, facing him with her index finger to his face. "Next time you blab on like you just did, I'll break your puppets." she said with a dark undertone in her voice.

Elizabeth quickly turned on her heel; walking off near the rock rumble. Elizabeth closes her eyes, and raises her right hand just above her head. She channels chakra from her stomach, once doing so she focuses her chakra flow toward her right hand. While doing so she manipulates the properties of the chakra. Matching it to that of raiton's fast energetic flows.

Elizabeth continues to channel raiton chakra into said hand and quickly expelling the raiton chakra. The raiton chakra energy formed a pale yellow glow around her raised hand.

Elizabeth smiles slightly, and quickly manipulates the pale yellowish glow chakra and preparing to release horns from it. Elizabeth swings her hand horizontally in an uppercut motion, releasing 3 horns that jab right into a tree's bark.

Elizabeth looks at the tree in awe, and looks back stunned at Sasori. Oh..yeah, a disadvantage Elizabeth thinks, She thinks back to the time it took to start the technique and how the gradual faint yellow glow could give away there's an oncoming attack.

"One major disadvantage is the time it takes to channel chakra to the state of where its a yellow glow. The opponent could see this glow and probably attack before you could get a chance to fire any bolts." Elizabeth says, facing Sasori.

Elizabeth huffs and remembers that she has another jutsu to learn.

Elizabeth unraps her scarf from her neck, and shakes it; a pocket knife and katana fall out. "Pretty neat, isn't it?" Elizabeth says, smiling.

She bends over to grab the katana with her right hand, and swings it around ready to begin. Elizabeth grips the katana, and gathers chakra from her stomach. She focuses the mass of chakra toward her right hand, she emits the chakra out; its properties now electric warps around the katana. The raiton chakra mingles in with the sword, sharpening it.

Elizabeth lets go of the katana in her right hand, and watches as the sword hovers above ground. Elizabeth marvels at this, and channels more chakra in her hands. She manipulates the shape, sharp egdes flat ends, and expels the chakra. The chakra divided and out appeared two swords, Elizabeth moved the orginal katana with her hands toward the newely created raiton fueled swords. She turned her hands in a circular motion, which caused the raiton swords to start spining. She guided her hands towards the same tree from her prevoius practice. The orginal katana now spining moved toward the tree with its clones; jabbing the tree in its trunk.

Elizabeth dropping her hands from stiffness, sighs and slowly walks to a more open clearing. Where the fresh earth is prominet, and easy to access.

Elizabeth collects herself, and quickly gathers chakra chakra in her left palm, the properties begin to change making it more fast. The chakra continues to gather now evemore fast, Elizabeth in an instant slams her hands into ground; letting out the chakra into earth, which was now raiton. The discharged raiton in the ground cut through the ground shocking the surrounding area aprroximately 3 meters.

Elizabeth lifted her hand and self up, and just barely uttered, "I'm going to need a vacation after all this." Jokingly adding, "Becoming a mindless puppet doesn't seem so bad now."

Without warning, Sasori held his arm out in front of Elizabeth. With a clacking of his arms, his hands folded back, revealing a hole from which he started shooting kunais from toward her!

Elizabeth shrugs while humming to herself, then all out of a sudden Sasori, who was just 5 meters from her revelas a hole in his folded hands. Elizabeth horrified more at his hands position see's the hole now shooting kunais..AT HER!

Elizabeth both pissed and scared, quickly perfoms the Ox handseal with both hands.

Then extends both hands out in front of her, she see's the kunai coming near. With adrenaline and fear she channels chakra in her palms/hands manipulating it to raiton properties; the kneading and mold its shape. She releases the chakra right in time, with a few seconds to spare. From her hands a bolt/surge of lighting blocks Elizabeth view, forming a wall in front of her.

The kunais make contact with the electric wall causing them to electrify and errupt in loud sounds.

Elizabeth looks at Sasori, narrowing her eye's angrily, "I could've been killed, you prick!" Elizabeth barks, hands on her hips. "Besides, Let a girl know first before you're going to shoot at her." she says now with her arms crossed.

Sasori laughed a little at Elizabeth's flustered reaction.

"Nice reactions. It was just to test and see if you were paying attention. Unfortunately, not all of my students were able to react in time, but 'tis the life of a shinobi, no?"

With a clack of his mechanical arms, Sasori gathered Raiton around his fist, compressing it with shape manipulation to create a lightning sphere. Dashing foward towards Elizabeth, his fist (right one) was held out. If Elizabeth got hit by this sphere, she'd be the victim of an electrical explosion.

Lighting Arts: Mastering and Peforming​

Elizabeth sighed, not in the mood to hear her weird sensei laugh at her expense.

"Nice reactions. It was just to test and see if you were paying attention. Unfortunately, not all of my students were able to react in time, but 'tis the life of a shinobi, no?"

"Use shape manipulation to form a half-dome of lightning that you can push forward as a wave attack. It has the strength to paralyze, shock, and push solid, tangible objects back."

Elizabeth cringed when he said "t'is" and thought, how old is this guy? 80? Elizabeth settled on nodding with a half smile. Elizabeth channeled chakra in her hands, collecting more by the minute. She felt the chakra begin to gather, she changed the raw chakra's property to match lighting's fast paced feel.

She manipulates the chakras shape, while doing so she thinks of a dome; its round and it covers places. She quickly exerts out the chakra and out materializes a dome, flowing in a wave, it continues out until colliding with a tree, causing it to set aflame.

Elizabeth laughs happily, then another unsettling surprise happens.

Sasori says,
"Here's your chance to get back at me. I'll attack you, and use that jutsu I just explained to repel me!"

Elizabeth looked at Sasori, a small smile gracing her lips and said, "Revenge? That's so petty, but if you say so. I'll shock you, so you'll feel the pain."

Elizabeth watched as Sasori started charging toward her with Raiton compressed around his right fist. She quickly in response charged chakra in her palms. She the kneaded the raw chakra, changing its properties to lighting. She then manipulates the shape of the chakra. Elizabeth sees Sasori reaching the perfect close range and quickly exerts the chakra from the pores of both hands. And, out materialized an electric half dome, moving foward in a wave toward Sasori who now collided with the shock.

Elizabeth looked flabbergasted and saw the dome shock once in contact with his body. She gasped wondering if he was okay and said, "I-I-Its not like I care or anything...but are you okay?"

I think it's beautiful. The average person sees 80 of those. Think about it for a minute *snaps fingers* u_u

Sasori was pushed back and shocked by the explosion, his puppet body falling apart.

It looked like he had died.

Silence loomed over the air for a few moments. Elizabeth would then hear a haunting clacking as Sasori's wooden limbs began reattaching to each other by chakra strings.

Soon enough, Sasori would be rebuilt. His body had burns and his red hair was frizzled/singed. There was the smell of burnt wood, small but noticeable. It lingered.

"You would have destroyed my core. That was impressive killing intent, Elizabeth."

"Now, raise your hand and shoot Raiton at the clouds, creating lightning strikes. The discharges are fast, so you have to shoot up and direct the lightning within a small window of time. The useful thing here is that you can control where the lightning hits."

He was speaking normally again, almost as if nothing happened.

"Then, five handseals, where Raiton then forces four large Earthen pillars to surround a large target and shock them from all angles."

"Fry that animal I caught over there. Put it out of its misery."

Sasori showed Elizabeth a large beast behind a clearing of trees. It was breathing heavily. Wounds on its body were fresh, and if one looked especially closely, they would see wounds that dripped with purple poison...
