Embarrassed to say, hadn't even thought about this.

But has logic? maybe the creator has something in store that we are glimpsing currently, further into the New World we will keep seeing Haki manipulation in the form of elements? or even attributes very similar to DFs

As for Conq. haki if that were the case Chinjao and Doffy's haki would be flame patterned too and why wouldn't Luffy;s haki outside of G4 still have the flame pattern? Maybe it's big people haki lol.

The OP already acknowledged that it wasn't unique to one person. Also, we've seen haki spreading across others and didn't see this.

It's due to harmonization of devil fruit power and haki. Haki with the flame patern takes of the properties of the users devil fruit

E.g; Luffy still being elastic even though he's using armament
Katakuri being sticky event he's using armament
Big mom draining luffy's energy during the clash after the. wedding

I think it's just style choice... It would look a little weird / odd if it was just a straight black line showing where someone used haki up too. The people that have displayed it with "flame pattern" style have also used it without said flame pattern style.

I don't recall so. If the haki is cut off. Like let's say it's only on the arm, the end of it is always in the flame style pattern. Unless it's full body. So there's no end

Show me Doflamingo with flame patterns at the end of his haki, he didn't go full body. Or How about Luffy in not G4? He doesn't go full body but also doesn't have the flame pattern when not in G4.
