1. shikamaru: Brilliant but lazy, defeated someone who was legitimately unkillable, ditched his lazy attitude after asumas death, possible legitimate hokage candidate(even though he will never get it)
2. Chouji: Overcame his confidence issues, loyal, courages and grows badass chakra wings nuff said.
3. Asuma: Strong without op abilities, guarded the fire lord, reasonably funny plus awesome knives.
4. Naruto: don't even need to say anything really.
5. lee: spanked sasuke in part 1, pushed gaara to the extreme, natural drunken fist user and amazing abilities considering he had no talent.
like
1. Hinata: strong without being op, genuinely loves naruto, one of the first to recognize him, trying to better her abilities while dealing with father who is disappointed and people that hate her
2. bee; just plain hilarious
3. Jiraya: the original sage mode user, hilarious, man hoe and pretty much naruto grandad
4. gai: funny as hell and has op moments
5. Sai: good jounin level ninja with versatile techs
Hate
1. Sakura: Asspull power-ups, weak willed/minded, lusts after sasuke(dont kid yourself saying its love its lust), character has minimal depth, was barely useful in fights and if she tried to fight she had to be saved, manipulative(trying to manipulate naruto) and nothing original about her.
2. Sasuke: weak-minded and easily manipulated, sulky, acts haughty and doesn't know his limits.
3. Ino: ridiculous obsession with sasuke(even though i don't think hes said to words to her), vain and a bit of a *****.
4. kakashi: showed favoritism to sasuke in part 1 (just discarded his other students), done absolutely nothing fora sakura.
5. Madara: trying to remake world because he didn't get what he wanted
